Meeting notes

Another year off to a good start with a great turn out.

This first meeting, Don Hart demonstrates making threads for boxes

This beautiful drip edge vessel was done by Keith Holt from the Baltimore area turners along with a few of his other creations

Keith said this was a vessel that turned into a lion club.

Don Hart made this tiny box and also the teeny-tiny trinket he had stored in the box.

A mulberry bowl made by Ross Kendall from wood gathered from Delaware's Carpenter State Park.

These towers were done by Steve Childers from pine knots.

Walt Koker a cabinet maker by trade, enjoys making 12 segmented pieces.   (approximately 315 pieces in this creation) This one is made from black limba, red heart, maple wenge and lipta.

 

Roger Early had two examples of boxes made on his computer controlled lathe that he has invented.  We are preparing for a group to visit Roger and see his set-up. A few pictures of his invention.
