Bruce Kaiser volunteered to share his ideas about woodturning design and to offer his critique of our pieces. Bruce is a founder of the Collectors of Wood Art and has a widely respected collection of turned wood art.
Club members viewing turnings made by other members and items brought in by Bruce Kaiser.

13 " Curved Vase from Chinese elm and

a bowl from English walnut cluster burl with zodiac figures inlay

Walt Coker made this from maple and walnut.  It is 2" high and 10" in diameter.

Something tiny, these vessels were made by Don Hart from snake wood, acrylic, ebony cherry and EPI.  Picture on the right shows size compared to a pen.  Tiny aren't they?

Jim Davies not only does wood, he use other elements.

A few items by Rat Yanez Partial segmented bowl (Left) Natural edge maple burl bowl. Lidded cherry box with textured lid.  Beech shallow bowl with grooved rim, and the large bowl is roped - fluted from beech.
