We have several HSS rods left. We are making these available for free to FSW Members only on a first-come basis. If you want to grind your own Point Tool or Round Skew, these are the HSS rods you’re looking for. (One per member please!)
We will ship these, or you can stop by my Studio in Middletown, Delaware to pick yours up. The HSS rod is free, but we’re asking you to cover the shipping cost. We will ship them in a USPS Flat Rate envelope, which costs us $8.50. Please choose your preference – shipped or local pick up – during checkout. (Local pick up bonus: I have nine (9) pre-drilled handle blanks left, plus some freshly felled pear…)
If you’re late to the party and we run out, you can purchase the same HSS rods on Amazon (10 mm x 200 mm, pack of 2, $12; free shipping for Amazon Prime members) So if you’re an Amazon Prime member and local pickup isn’t an option for you, this might be a more economical choice.
