Jerry Kermode to Demo February 19th in Baltimore

Jerry Kermode will be at Mark Supik & Co. Woodturning on Wednesday, February 19th, 7-9 PM.  Artist, skilled craftsman, and teacher Jerry Kermode will demonstrate “the art of nonviolent woodturning” in the shop of Mark Supik in Baltimore City.

The evening will include a brief tour of Mark Supik & Co. Woodturning and demonstrations by Jerry.

A professional woodworker and turner since 1972 , Jerry has turnings in collections world-wide. He is a respected teacher, both privately and at various schools and national symposiums.  He is a master member of the Baulines Craft Guild, founded the Hawai’i chapter of the AAW, and is an active member of the AAW POP committee.  Jerry Kermode is known as much for his sense of humor and friendly manner as for his ability with the chisel.  He teaches and practices “the art of non-violent woodturning,” helping people to understand the subtler nuances of cutting wood without fear or trepidation.
